We begin a medical assessment by looking at your pet’s eyes, ears, and skin and checking his or her cardiovascular, neurological, gastrointestinal, and skeletal systems for any abnormalities. We will perform blood and/or urine tests as necessary to check your pet’s kidneys, liver, pancreas, and endocrine system, including the thyroid and adrenal glands. Mandatory Capstar (kills fleas) Medication administration (if needed) Separate feeding arrangements upon request Additional care for puppies under 6 months Property destruction fees may apply for damage to hospital property Holiday boarding fees may apply All dogs must be up to date on the following vaccinations: Rabies DA2PP (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza) Leptospirosis Bordetella (Kennel Cough) Negative fecal test within the past 6 months Canine Influenza is strongly recommended but not required. Food must be provided in a sealed, labeled container. All medications must be in their original containers with prescription labels attached. PLEASE review our Hurricane Policy on the “Forms” page.
