Veterinary Technician

I made my way into the animal care industry 6 years ago at an exotic bird sanctuary and boarding facility, quickly making my way to a management position. Knowing that I wanted to make my mark and be an advocate for all animals, I made the decision to go to school to get a degree for what I loved to do – care for animals. After graduating from Vet Institute of Houston where I received my Associates of Applied Science Degree, I started here at PAH in January 2013. I have two pet rats named Squeaky and Klaus who adore my daughter and want nothing more than to play with her.

Veterinary Technician

I am originally from Brisbane, Australia, and moved over to Houston in May 2021. I met my now husband, Hunter, a born and raised Houstonian, playing video games online. After traveling between the two countries for years, we packed up everything, including my little German Shepherd, Kimba, and moved to Houston. Since I was a young child, I wanted to work with animals and during my teenage years, I volunteered for rescues but knew I needed to do more for these fur babies that needed help, a voice to speak up for them, an advocate. I’ve been working in the veterinary field since 2018 and Parkwood Animal Hospital is my first clinic to work in the states. I thoroughly enjoy working in a surgical setting, helping sick patients, and making a difference in a patient’s life. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, playing video games, listening to K-pop, and being creative.
